L.A. began her creative journey as both a writer and an actor. After studying Musical Theatre at Douglas College and screenwriting at Vancouver Film School, she spent some time writing in Hollywood. Returning to Vancouver, L.A. became a talent agent before retiring from the film industry to focus on writing full-time.

She resides in picturesque Vancouver, Canada, happily nestled between the Pacific Ocean and Coastal Mountains.
